Hey peeps, I finally managed to write an article containing the link to each product you can see in this outfit (simply click on the little pictures in the gallery). It seemed like many of you have been really loving this look so I figured I would show you some more pictures of it (: It's a very comfortable and easy look - probably a bit to warm for the next few months - but you can't rely on the Germany summer, can you? So for the colder summer days, this is definitely a good outfit to go for. xx
It's still too early to talk about summery outfits due to the low temperatures, so let's talk about fluffy jackets that give you the feeling of wearing your blanket all day long. I found this cute coat at a Zara store in Berlin - it was the last piece and it was luckily my size - so I decided to buy it. I'm not wearing this jacket on a daily bases because it's a bit too fancy for some looks, but I still try to combine it with a lot of different clothes to create some nice outfits. This time, I went for some blue boyfriend jeans, a pair of beige sneakers, a white blouse with frills and a silver bag - all found at Zara. The sunglasses are from A Vanity Affair and the name if the design is "The island Sunglasses Rose Gold". xx
My go to outfit for a an effortless and cool everyday look? A pair of skinny blue jeans, a white basic t-shirt, some black leather boots and a black leather jacket. The most important thing about such a minimalistic and simple look is the high quality of your clothes, especially of the shoes and the jacket. I'm not a fan of synthetic leather and that's why I only buy real leather jackets and boots. In my opinion, imitation leather tends to look cheap and worn out after a little while. Real leather jackets however will look even better the longer you wear them, so they are definitely worth the higher price. I used to wear a leather jacket by Allsaints (here) and I was very happy with the quality, but I wanted to have another one, even more "biker-style" kinda jacket. So when I heard that BODA SKINS was launching an event at the Soho House in Berlin, I decided to come and join them.
¡Estoy enamorada! Well, at least I'm in love with my new sweater by Oh Yeah! Berlin. The material is super soft and feels very gentle on the skin. I love the minimalistic design and the cute little heart on the left chest. My style in general is very simple and basic, so I like it when clothes have prints or other little eye catchers on them to add a little special feature to it. You can guess that his army jacket by Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply (here) was rather of my taste. I bought it last summer when I was in New York City and I've been wearing it ever since. I mean... how cool are the patches on the sleeves? Oh, and if you're into patches and cute prints just as much as I am, you can use my code YEAHLEAPERLINGER to get a 20% discount on your whole purchase. You should definitely take a look at their website for more inspiration! For the rest of my outfit I decided to go for a simple pair of blue jeans by Zara (here) and a pair of silver sneakers by Stradivarius (here). The bag is from Sassyclassy (here) and the sunnies are from Amazon (here). xx
When we decided to go to Barcelona, the main reasons were actually the warm temperatures and the sunny weather. At least, that's what we thought would expect us. But as soon as we arrived in Spain, we realized that it was even colder and windier than expected (iPhone weather app is just not reliable at all haha). Gladly, I took one of my favorite sweaters with me on this trip since most of the stores only sold summery clothes. I got this sweater in three colors - that's how much I love them! I got them from H&M and they are super soft and very comfortable to wear, especially when you're traveling. Unfortunately, they don't sell it anymore (or at least not during summer season), but I found a similar one on their website (here). Bag (similar here), sunglasses (similar here), shoes (similar here) and jeans (here) are all from Zara. My rings are from a little jewelry shop in Ensenada, Mexico and from Vero Moda Pieces (here). xx
Hey peeps! Sending out sunny greetings to you from Sri Lanka! I hope you are all doing well. So far my stay here has been quite amazing. There are palm trees on every corner, I have white sand under my feet and I hear the sound of crushing waves in the background every time I fall asleep. That's basically everything I need to have in my life to be the happiest person on this whole planet. And maybe good food, which I definitely get here in huge amounts everyday. Literally everything here tasted like heaven also far (especially the tropical fruit) and was super duper fresh! I can't wait to explore this beautiful island and to see more of Sri Lanka's culture and wildlife. Last week I had my first surf lesson and god damn, I've never felt such a soreness in my entire boy ever before. It's such a sophisticated form of sport and the chance to get injured is very high. So let's just hope I'll be just fine and won't get kissed by any sharks! :D
Hello my loves! Back with a new look, I am now showing you one of the outfits I wore in Berlin a few weeks ago. I found this super cool baseball jacket at H&M and it was on sale for only 10€, so I didn't have to think about buying it for too long haha. I combined the jacket with a white blouse with navy blue details on it and a ripped skinny jeans in dark grey. Unfortunatley, it seems like my boots (bought them at Zara) are sold out, but I found similar ones that are defitnely just as fashaionable as the ones I have. To top it all of, I decided to go for a Fur Beanie and a black leather bag with chains on it, because I really like wearing the bag and the boots together in one outfit. When we were shooting the pictures it was reeeaaally cold and windy, so maybe I shoud have waited a few more weeks to wear this look, but I honestly cannot wait for spring to arrive (definitely in need of vitamin D!). I am already thinking about new outfits to shoot and blogposts I want to write for you. So let's just hope for warmer and sunny weather soon! xx
Well, to be honest with you, it was fucking freezy when we went out to shoot pictures of this outfit. But if the weather forecast is right the cold and snowy temperatures will last for the next couple of weeks and I didn't want to wait any longer to show you this look. The key piece of this entire combination are these pants by Zara, which look like you went straight out of the gym back in the 80's. And I know, some people just don't get why fashion labels even produce or sell such trousers, but I think they look super edgy and I love them very much! They fit so well and it's so comfortable to wear them when you are used to squeezing yourself into ultra skinny jeans everyday. As I went for a pair of simple white sneakers by Adidas Originals and an oversized turtleneck sweater by H&M, I thought I needed something a little more chic. So I wore my Speedy 35 in by Louis Vuitton and my golden Parker watch by Michael Kors (which you can't really see but I thought I would mention it anyway). To finish my nerdy look, I put on some glasses, which I found online at the H&M men department. They are very similar to the Ray Ban glasses but obviously a lot cheaper, even though they look pretty much the same. I've been searching for such glasses literally everywhere and I'm so glad I finally found this pair, so if you were looking for the perfect nerd glasses; now you know where to find them. Will talk to you guys soon, have a nice week! xx
Hey peeps! Here's a a new outfit post to add a little bit of color to this grey and snowy weather. I usually never wear any bright and strong colored clothes. Not because I don't like them, but because I normally don't feel very comfortable wearing them. With the exception of this sweater. I found it last week at a Zara store in Munich and I seriously HAD to buy it. The material is not the most pleasant one, but the fit is super cozy and perfectly oversized and I also love it's huge sleeves. I combined it with a skinny jeans by Zara, a shearling jacket by Asos (similar one here) and a pair of white sneakers by Adidas. For accessories I chose to go for a grey beanie with a huge pompom with pink and yellow details in it and a black leather bag, both by Zara. Hopefully winter will leave soon, so I can show you more summery outfits and not always winter jackets and beanies, I'm gradually getting tired of that. And I'm really craving warmth and sunshine and I am really looking forward to my next vacation and I'm already counting the days left. Can't wait to see palm trees and to soak in the sunshine, to hear the sound of crushing waves and to feel the sand underneath my feet. Summer, I'm waiting for you.
Hey guys! I'm finally feeling better and since I went to Nuremberg a few days ago for my cousins second birthday, I thought I'd show you the outfit I wore for it. We were actually celebrating two birthdays, the one of my sister turning 18 the week before and the one of my cuisine turning two this weekend. It was quite funny to celebrate together with all those mini family members and definitely not the usual "18th birthday bash" haha. For my outfit I decided to go for a quite similar jacket as the one I'ver showed you in my last outfit post, but I found this one by Zara (unfortunately it's sold out, but I found a similar on here) in their sale section and I really liked the fit of it (and you can never have enough clothes, right?). I combined it with a simple Vero Moda shirt with black and white stripes on it and golden creoles (similar ones here) by the same brand. To finish my look, I chose a black leather handbag by Michael Kors (similar one here) and black boots by Zara (similar ones here), both with golden details on them. First, I wasn't sure if I should go for a black miniskirt and tights or a pair of jeans, but because of the low temperatures I chose to go for a pair of skinny black jeans by AEO. See you soon! xx
Good morning my loves! Hope you all had an amazing Christmas with your beloved ones! As I already mentioned in my last blogpost, I went to Nuremberg a few days ago to see my family and today I wanted to show you the outfit I wore for this festivity. I decided to go for a simple black dress by Zara (similar one here) and as always, I know... my black boots by Allsaints. For a little bit more glamour I chose to combine it with a dark blue fake fur jacket by Esprit (similar one here) and some huge and sparkling earrings, which I found at H&M last week. I totally love the design of them, maybe because they somehow remind me of one of my favorite movies "The Great Gatsby" and I feel a bit like a twenties lady haha. Furthermore, I wore a simple black Zara bag with a little silver feather embellishment on it to finish my look. Unfortunately I couldn't find it anymore on their website, so I think it's already sold out, but I found another one, which I also really like and in my opinion this one would also look great with the entire outfit. But for now, enjoy your winter holidays!
Hey guys! Hope you are all having a Holly Jolly Christmas with a lot of great food, many presents and most importantly, a good time with your beloved ones. I spent Christmas eve with my parents, my sister and my grandparents who came to visit us. Now I'm heading to Nuremberg, my hometown, to see the rest of my family. So the X-Mas madness goes on and even though I really like Christmas, I'm glad when it's all over and we can finally go back to everyday life (otherwise I would quickly get used to receiving cute presents everyday and probably get fat because of all the yummy food). Anyways, I just wanted to give you all outfit details from my latest Instagram look, featuring my favorite sweater (I actually bought it in in three colors because I love the fit and the material so freaking much). And I totally fell in love with these Zara boots because they are so incredibly comfortable and simply look super edgy. I combined them with a lambskin jacket, a destroyed Zara jeans (link to a similar one) and a black crocodile leather imitated Zara bag and a pair of fishnet tights by Calzedonia. I think fishnet tights can look very cool, but you have to make sure you combine it the right way. For example, if you wear it with a short leather skirt, I would recommend to wear an oversized sweater with it to dress it all down a litte bit. So with that said, enjoy your winter holidays, you'll hear from me soon! xx
Hey guys! Today I wanna show you a quite simple but very comfortable outfit that I wore a few days ago when the weather was freezing cold but super sunny at the same time. That's why I had to put on my Dior look-a-like sunglasses, which I found on amazon. They are very cheap and affordable compared to the original Dior So Real sunnies. I love the shape of them and I wear them nearly every time there's a little sunshine, so I'm thinking about investing in the Dior ones. And as I went for a walk with my dog as usual I had to wear a jacket which would keep me warm, so I ended up wearing my Woolrich Arctic Parka in Dark Navy. The design is very simple and when you walk through the pedestrian zone in Munich during winter time, nearly every second person is wearing such a jacket, but I still think it looks very cool and because of its great quality it's a good investment to make. To keep my feet warm I put on these lined black boots by Zara. They look very much like a mix of Moonboots and Inuikii and since I love chunky boots very much, these Zara ones were a perfect and cheap alternative. And I didn't really felt a difference to Ugg Boots or Moonboots, so they are defiantly a recommendation to buy! Furthermore, I wore a pair of black jeans, a striped shirt by Vero Moda and a black hat by NoaNoa.
Fall season calls for long afternoon walks, chai latte and movie nights. And outfit shootings since the lightening is pretty awesome and the temperatures are still warm enough to wear less than a super thick winter coat, Uggs and a XXL scarf. So today I went out and took some pictures, featuring some of my all time favorite clothes. Black leather (or leather look-alike) pants, chunky black boots and my latest obsession, a black crocodile look-alike leather bag. I love the material and I've been wanting this bag for such a long time but unfortunately it was always sold out. But last week I finally found it back in stock and immediately bought it (and as you can tell I ended up buying a few more pieces...). The bag kind of reminds me of the Chanel Boy Bag or the Saint Laurent bags in crocodile embossed leather (at least a tiny little bit). I'm obsessed with both brands and hopefully one day I will finally own one. But let's be honest, life should't only be about buying or dreaming about expensive high end designer bags, when there are so many more meaningful things you could spend your money on. Especially when you are young. So for now I am very happy with this bag by Zara. The size is perfect for fitting your purse, keys and some make up into it. And the leather is also super soft and looks high-quality. So if you were looking for a perfect black bag for your everyday life that isn't super pricy but still fashionable, you should definitely take a closer look at it. xx
I went out for a walk through the woods and thought the weather was perfect for taking some pictures of one of my recently favorite outfits. I saw this sweater-dress combo on a friend of mine and I really liked it, so I kind of had to do some shopping... Right? This look is very simple but still feminin and chic. For some people it might be a bit too short but I think you can also wear this outfit with some skinny blue or black jeans if that's more comfortable for you. And as winter is right around the corner, wearing thin tights like these might not always be a good idea. Anyways, I hope you guys are all doing well and enjoying your week! I had some days off where I mostly just relaxed at home and watched some episodes (or seasons...) on Netflix, read some books or went for a little hike with my dog. The landscape photos you find in this post were taken this morning, right after last night's snow had thawed. I really enjoy taking pictures of the landscape and nature in general, so I figured I'd show you some of them in this article, even though it's an outfit post. Hope you like it anyways! xx
As I already told you in my recent post, I'm totally into chunky military boots. I just feel the most comfortable walking around with this kind of shoes. So it's no big surprise that I had to buy a black pilot jacket that goes perfectly with my new boots to complete my look. But to give this very simple style a little twist and a more feminine touch, I combined these two pieces with a cute floral dress. I love the pattern and the material is also super comfy, so for fall season it's just the perfect buy. I didn't really know which bag to wear with it, think I might need to buy a new one soon haha! Right now I'm working on a new beauty blogpost for the girls, so stay tuned! xx
Hey guys! It's been a rainy and cloudy weekend so far, but at least I could spend my time on a new blogpost for you. Today's post is about probably my all time favorite combination - blue & white. I always used to wear a lot of these colors as a child (and look a bit boyish of course) and I still think that you can never go wrong with it. It looks classy and a bit edgy and cool at the same time when you combine it with sneakers, for example. I really hope you like my outfit, have a nice day! xx
Hey guys, hope you're all doing well! Today I want to show you another spring look, all cozy and stylish at the same time.
I'm wearing a fake fur jacket, which I found at esprit, but unfortunately it's already sold out. That's why I created a small gallery with my favorite pieces from this year's spring/summer collection. They have so many beautiful pieces! I love how the jacket fits a little bit loose and even though it is very lightweight, it still keeps me warm. And though the weather is not getting any better,
I had to wear some sunnies anyway. I've been wanting this kind of shades for such a long time and now I finally found a dupe to the Dior So Real on amazon. Of course, the quality isn't comparable to the original one, but because I know that I will lose or get them scratched anyway, that's not a big problem. I really hope you like this look! Have a great day! xx
Hey guys! After a few days in cold and rainy Vienna I'm back home now - back to cold and rainy Germany. What a surprise. I was hoping that spring would arrive earlier this year, but as I stood up today and looked outside of my window, the landscape was fully covered in snow. WHY. Just WHY. But as complaining won't change anything about it, I headed to my blog to write this article and to show you my favorite jacket (at least for the moment :D). It was a valentines gift from my boyfriend and I totally fell in love with the design and the fabric! It is super cozy and I kinda feel like a sheep while wearing it. Because in my opinion the jacket itself draws enough attention to it, I decided to combine it with some simple black pieces and a cream colored pullover. My sister borrowed me her Louis Vuitton vintage bag, which I think looks very stylish, modern and cool at the same time. Unfortunately, I didn't had the chance to take pictures of my recent trip to Austria, but I still have some images left from the winter holiday, which I will post in a few days. Anyway, I hope you're all having a great week! xx
Back home in Germany and back home to my everyday life: Studying and working, that's what the last weeks were all about. But now as most of my tests are written, I finally got time to write the second article about my recent trip to Vienna, which will be online in a few days. There's a lot I'd like to tell you about! For now I want to show you one of my most worn outfits from the entire trip. As it was so cold and super freeze, I didn't really had the choice to wear anything different from my Woolrich, which kept me warm and cozy all the time. Maybe this jacket is not the most flattering one, but I love it anyway (:
