Hey meine Lieben!

Fall season calls for long afternoon walks, chai latte and movie nights. And outfit shootings since the lightening is pretty awesome and the temperatures are still warm enough to wear less than a super thick winter coat, Uggs and a XXL scarf. So today I went out and took some pictures, featuring some of my all time favorite clothes. Black leather (or leather look-alike) pants, chunky black boots and my latest obsession, a black crocodile look-alike leather bag. I love the material and I've been wanting this bag for such a long time but unfortunately it was always sold out. But last week I finally found it back in stock and immediately bought it (and as you can tell I ended up buying a few more pieces...). The bag kind of reminds me of the Chanel Boy Bag or the Saint Laurent bags in crocodile embossed leather (at least a tiny little bit). I'm obsessed with both brands and hopefully one day I will finally own one. But let's be honest, life should't only be about buying or dreaming about expensive high end designer bags, when there are so many more meaningful things you could spend your money on. Especially when you are young. So for now I am very happy with this bag by Zara. The size is perfect for fitting your purse, keys and some make up into it. And the leather is also super soft and looks high-quality. So if you were looking for a perfect black bag for your everyday life that isn't super pricy but still fashionable, you should definitely take a closer look at it. xx

As you probably have already noticed, I started doing more of these so called "mood boards". I always used to visit other blogs and websites and just went through all the pictures. To me, pictures and quotes are pretty much the two main sources when it comes to writing an article. So in the past I often felt like writing but didn't have the suitable pictures to complete my blogpost. And because of that I just let it be and didn't write at all. But as I want to write and post more frequently and I want to share my thoughts with you guys, I will be using pictures the ones you see in this post from websites like weheartit and use them to express my mood and to emphasize my emotions. I really enjoy looking at pictures and paintings, wether it's in a museum, in a magazine or on the internet. Both are a way of expressing feelings when you somehow don't find the right words to do so. It's not just about what you can see in the picture, it's about how the scenery, the expression on a face or simply the colors make you feel. And the same goes with music.

I went out for a walk through the woods and thought the weather was perfect for taking some pictures of one of my recently favorite outfits. I saw this sweater-dress combo on a friend of mine and I really liked it, so I kind of had to do some shopping... Right? This look is very simple but still feminin and chic. For some people it might be a bit too short but I think you can also wear this outfit with some skinny blue or black jeans if that's more comfortable for you. And as winter is right around the corner, wearing thin tights like these might not always be a good idea. Anyways, I hope you guys are all doing well and enjoying your week! I had some days off where I mostly just relaxed at home and watched some episodes (or seasons...) on Netflix, read some books or went for a little hike with my dog. The landscape photos you find in this post were taken this morning, right after last night's snow had thawed. I really enjoy taking pictures of the landscape and nature in general, so I figured I'd show you some of them in this article, even though it's an outfit post. Hope you like it anyways! xx

"We are all just a car crash, a diagnosis, an unexpected phone call, a newfound love or a broken heart away from becoming a completely different person. How beautifully fragile are we that so many things can take but a moment to alter who we are forever?"

Samuel. D Thompson

This quote has been spinning through my mind for so long, because it's such a simple statement with such a deep and powerful meaning. I stumbled upon it on a friend's Instagram and I probably already spent hours thinking about transience and simply the beauty of life. So I'm not going to tell you the details, but I still think anybody can relate to what I am taking about. After me and my boyfriend broke up I felt like crab and my world kinda broke into pieces. At least that's what I thought at that very moment. That I'm never going to be able to be happy and to smile again and that my life would never be the same again without him. And so on. Just the typical thoughts right after a breakup I guess. But of course, that's not what happened. The only thing I was right with was that I was never going to be the same person again as I used to be. And I'm glad about that. I have become an even more openminded, adventurous, introspective and creative person ever since then and I am so pleased with how it all turned out to be. I like myself a lot more today than I did a few months ago. I am more content and I appreciate the little things in life a lot more. I try to live in the present and be thankful for what I have right now instead of holding on to things and worrying about letting go. So I figure my mum was right when she told me that great things are about to come when everything seems to be falling apart and that old energy is clearing out for new energy to enter. Sometimes we need to let things pass, plunge into the change and just move it. And be patient.

Another phrase I stumbled upon was the following one: If a flower is already dead, you don't water it anymore. It's that simple. So why is it that humans do everything to save love when it's about to break but not to protect it while it's still "whole"? We always tend to hold on to things because we fear something great like that won't happen twice. But that is so not true! This way of thinking is so illogical because while we are holding on to things that have already passed new and even greater chances pass by. And that's probably why we think great things won't happen twice. They are happening but we are just not realizing them. But still, everyone of us holds so tightly on to what they have, even if it's already broken and unfixable.
